Maatrubhumi First Review Out: Subhash Ghai Calls Salman Khan’s Upcoming Film a “Must Watch”

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is already creating buzz with his upcoming patriotic drama Maatrubhumi, and now the film has received its first review from veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai.

 

After watching the rough cut of the film during a private industry screening, Subhash Ghai praised the movie and called it a “must watch” film. The screening was attended by several well-known Bollywood personalities, including filmmaker Kabir Khan, Sooraj Barjatya, actor Riteish Deshmukh, and actress Chitrangda Singh.

 

According to reports, Subhash Ghai described the film as an emotional and powerful story based on the emotions of soldiers and their families. He also appreciated the film’s message of peace, patriotism, and humanity.

 

Salman Khan’s Patriotic Avatar in Maatrubhumi

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, Maatrubhumi is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between India and China. The film was earlier titled Battle of Galwan before being renamed to Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.

 

The movie showcases Salman Khan in the role of an Indian Army officer, while Chitrangda Singh plays his wife. Earlier released visuals and songs from the film highlighted the emotional balance between a soldier’s duty towards the nation and love for family.
